• Family & half-day tours: Ideal for children and first-time rafters. One standout is the half-day on the Arnold River (near Greymouth) — calm enough for young ones (from about 5 yrs) but still fun.
• Full-day tours: Explore wild rivers like the Upper Grey River / Māwheranui near Reefton and Greymouth. Expect scenic canyons, gorge rapids (Grade 3) and expert guiding. Example: the 7-hour Grey Wilderness Raft 1 Day Tour.
• Multi-day adventures: For those who want more immersion — raft and camp on remote rivers (e.g., the Upper Waiau River / Waiau‑uha (Grade 3-4) near Hanmer Springs). Stay nights in tents by the river, meals over fire, and experience the back-country.
