Greymouth i-SITE West Coast Travel Centre is based in the Historic Greymouth Railway Station and our experienced staff can book every travel service that you may need for your West Coast holiday. If we don't have it advertised then just enquire and we will endeavour to meet your needs. Our free travel reservation service covers all of the Westland / West Coast region of the South Island.
Train bookings - We are agents for Tranz Scenic and can book your tickets for all scenic train services throughout New Zealand including the Tranz Alpine train that travels daily between Christchurch and Greymouth, the Coastal Pacific which travels daily between Christchurch and Picton, The Overlander travels between Auckland and Wellington and the Taieri Gorge Railway travels between Dunedin and Middlemarch. We offer competitive prices and any specials that are running at the time. Gift Shop - In the Greymouth Railway Station gift shop we offer a range of beautiful New Zealand Jade and Paua jewellery at a very competitive price. We also stock a large range of Westland souvenirs and Tranz Alpine memorabilia. We also have great New Zealand gifts and souvenirs to take home as your memento of your West Coast holiday.
Shuttles and Coaches - We can book tickets on all shuttle services on the West Coast going locally or around the South Island. These include Atomic Shuttles, Westcoast Shuttles, Intercity Coachlines and Newmans Coachlines.
Rental Cars - If you want to visit the beautiful West Coast at your leisure then we can organize the perfect rental vehicle for your needs whether it is a minivan or a compact car - we can do it all.
Located with in our building are Hertz, Apex, Avis, Budget and Europcar. Also located near the station are NZ Rent a Car and Thrifty Car Rentals.
Ferries - We can book tickets for the Interislander and Blue Bridge ferrys between Picton and Wellington for both passengers and vehicles.
Accommodation Bookings - Bookings for accommodation can be organized ranging from Backpackers up to the finest Hotels, Motels, Bed and Breakfasts or Lodges.
Activities and Tours - A wide range of activities and tours can be booked, ranging from the most adventurous activities to the more sedate sightseeing tour of the region.
Travel Advice & Visitor Information – Our local staff can advise you on all aspects of travel on the West Coast – travel times, maps, things to do, walks, sightseeing tours, what’s on as well as other helpful visitor information. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 9.30am-4pm.
Internet - We have internet access available in the Railway Station along with wireless.
